Tiebacks

Tiebacks are not only used for excavation retention, but also for basement walls, retaining walls, as well as roadway abatements. Basically, they are steel rods that have an anchoring mechanism that is drilled through the ground, past the “unsuccessful” soil, and into sturdy soil that has the capacity to withstand the desired load. Tiebacks are commonly used to help support and stabilize foundations of both temporary and permanent structures.

At Engineered Solutions of Georgia we specialize in all types of foundation repairs, including the installation of tiebacks. We have tieback contractors and foundation repair experts are ready to meet virtually any foundation problem with a proven, time-honored tieback remedy.
